The Eagle, Idaho Branch was busy in the first quarter of 2018 with two projects: gathering donations of goods and money to support both veterans as well as homeless pets in their area.  All told, they were able to donate $300.00 worth of goods to fill veteran care packages, made a cash donation of $225.00, as provided lots of needed pet supplies to the Idaho Humane Society.

LOA Jessica Clow says, “Dennise Sandquist, a Loan Officer in our branch originally put together the VA project.  This is a cause that she is very passionate about and always encourages the employees in our branch to contribute when they can.  When we decided what cause we were going to contribute to for our first quarter of Guild Giving, we wanted to make sure we included the veteran care packages as Dennise has worked so hard to keep this project alive. We took a vote in our branch for the other cause that we wanted to support and as we are all pet lovers, the Humane Society was a no brainer.  I don’t think we have a week that goes by that someone doesn’t bring a pet in for a quick ‘hello.’  That is something that really brightens everyone’s week when we get a quick visit from our furry family members.”
