SUMMARY:Guild Giving raises $50\,000 for hurricane relief
DESCRIPTION:Upon seeing the extensive damage caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton across the southeastern U.S.\, Guild Giving expanded its efforts to support the affected communities in their recovery.  \n\nGuild Mortgage employees answered the call\, donating $25\,000 toward the relief efforts. Guild Giving matched every employee donation\, up to $500 per person\, doubling the impact to a total of $50\,000. These funds will be directed to the following local charities. \n\n\nAIDNET receiving $10\,000\nMANNA Food Bank receiving $10\,000\nMountain Projects Inc receiving $5\,000\nEblen Charities receiving $5\,000\nBeacon of Hope Services receiving $5\,000\nRebuilding Together receiving $5\,000\nEmergency RV receiving $5\,000\nSamaritan’s Purse receiving $5\,000

SUMMARY:Keep Carolina Warm initiative donates 100 blankets
DESCRIPTION:Team members came together to help restore the community of Banner Elk\, NC\, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Working on behalf of Guild Giving\, our team participated in a large-scale cleanup effort\, removing debris and repairing damage at a local park.  \n\nWe also hosted a mobile donation station in partnership with Sackcloth & Ashes to “keep Carolina warm.” For every blanket donated\, Sackcloth & Ashes donated a second blanket\, resulting in 100 total blankets donated.

SUMMARY:Guild Mortgage employee blood drive saves up to 63 lives
DESCRIPTION:Guild Giving hosted a successful blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross\, bringing together Guild Mortgage employees and community members to support a vital cause.  \n\nOverall\, 23 generous donors participated\, including seven first-time donors. A total of 21 units of blood were collected\, with the potential to save up to 63 lives. This event offered our team members another opportunity to make a life-changing impact in the communities we serve\, one donation at a time.
