At its inaugural Charity Golf and Dinner Social in October 2017, Guild raised more than $174,000 for the homeless and underprivileged youth

More than 200 people attended the first annual event, including community partners, sponsors and Guild employees. After an afternoon of golf, participants attended a dinner and auction, featuring donated prize packages ranging from a stay at California’s famed La Quinta Resort & Club to an Arnold Palmer-themed golf basket.

Donations supported the Monarch School, Urban Corps of San Diego County and the San Diego Rescue Mission.

Guild donates more than $116,000 to help injured veterans walk again

In February 2017, the Foundation donated $116,000 to the Infinite Hero Foundation, a nonprofit that helps provide disabled military veterans access to groundbreaking rehabilitation programs. The donation was used to purchase a revolutionary, wearable exoskeleton from ReWalk Robotics for the VA San Diego Healthcare System Spinal Cord Injury Center. Adding to this effort, Guild employees raised an additional $24,000 at their Leadership Summit to assist military veterans.

Not to be outdone, Guild employees who attended the Leadership Summit in February 2018 came together and raised an outstanding $116,000 for the Infinite Hero Foundation. Working with onsite representatives, Guild employees took to heart the importance of investing in the programs provided by IHF that support the mental and/or physical challenges of our veterans.
